Listen all-Good News.

Won’t you agree that we live in a world that is filled with bad news every day? You know what I’m talking about, don’t you? You sit in front of the television or internet, within a short time, you’ll be frozen by pictures of cruelties, atrocities and bad news all the time.

However, the Bible declares Gospel to this world every day. The word “Gospel” comes from a Greek word that means “good news”. Gospel is good news for all people from all nations, races and colors. God loves you all equally, whoever you may be or what condition you may find yourselves in (poor, rich, male, female, managers, servants, slaves, different colors, disabled, in prison or out of prison, rapers, murderers, criminals and people of all languages), and do you know God has a beautiful and perfect plan laid out for your future security and well being? Keep reading below to find out what God promises you and what He says about you and Him.

What is this Gospel (good news) ? The main points of this Good news are given below.

First promise -You can become a child of God now.

Bible says in John 1:6-7 “To all who believed Him and accepted Him (Jesus Christ), He gave the right to become children of God”. It’s so amazing that you can become a child of the living God by believing and accepting Jesus Christ. See people in this world are under the power and influence of the Devil. But when you believe and accept Jesus Christ you are transferred from the kingdom of evil and darkness to the kingdom of God and light and you become a child of God. You are born on this earth from your parents. But you will be born again from above and join the family of God, when you accept Christ as your savior/rescuer. God becomes your father.

• Second promise -You can receive everlasting (eternal) life now.

John 3:16 says “God so loved the word (means God loved you personally) that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Then the next verse says “God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it”. (John 3:17). Jesus said, “Truly, Truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life”. (John 6:47). Jesus said ” I gave eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand”. (John 10:27).

• Third promise -You will never be condemned in future and you will not be judged for your sins.

You will not be condemned if you come to Jesus Christ in faith. Then the very next verse (John 3:18) says this – “There is no judgment waiting for those who trust in Him (Jesus Christ). But those who do not trust in Him have already been judged for not believing in the Son of God”. There is only one reason for God’s judgment on people and that reason is because they don’t trust in Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 5:24, “Truly, Truly, I say to you, One who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life”

• Fourth promise -You will never leave alone or face life’s challenges alone.

Bible says in Hebrews 13:6, ” I will never leave you, nor will I ever forsake you”. Psalms 27:10 says, “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will hold me close”.  Jesus said in Matthew 28:20, “And look, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world”. When Daniel and his three friends were placed in an extremely hot and fiery furnace  for their faithfulness to God,  the Bible says the Lord walked with them and protected them from the destruction of the fire and they were safe and secure. God’s promise to you is this -you will never walk alone in this wicked and evil world. You have all-powerful God with you always, guiding you and protecting you.

The good news  listed above for you are based on the truth God tells about Him and us. God is truth and when He talks about Him and us, let us listen very carefully.

First truth- God’s judgement is coming soon on this wicked world.

Bible says in Hebrews 9:27, “And just as it is destined that each person dies only once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ died only once as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people”. Bible says Wrath of God is going to come on this sin-bound, wicked world for all the wickedness and evil deeds done here on this earth.  Bible records the future wrath of God coming in to this world in Revelation 6:16-17 “And they said the mountains and to the rocks, “fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;” for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?”. See, the sole purpose of Jesus’s coming in to this world was to take away your sins from you and put it on His body and die in your place so that you can be fully and completely saved from your sin’s penalty and judgment. Jesus Christ died in substitution for you. Now, when you accept Christ and believe in Him, you will never, never go through the wrath and judgment of God. 

• Second truth -All of us have sinned and fall short of God’s standard.

Bible says in Romans 3:23, “all have sinned and fall short of God’s glorious standard”. Romans 3:9 says, “Well then… are Jews better than others? No, Not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin”. Romans 2:10, Bible says, “No one is good-not even one… all have done wrong…”. This is the truth that God says about human beings.

• Third truth -God says He solved our problem based on His love and kindness toward us.

Bible says in Romans 5:8, “But God showed us His great love toward for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners”. The previous verse, Romans 5:6, says when we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners”. Romans 5:9 says, “We have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ”. This is how Jesus saved us from the coming judgment of God by shedding his blood and dying in your place. Romans 8:1 says “So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus”.

• Fourth truth – Bible says It has to be God’s way not by your ways

Bible says if you want to become a child of God and come to his heaven and have eternal life, you will need to come His way. You can’t become a child of God and come to His heaven and enjoy eternal life by your own ideas or ways. In order to become a child of God and come to God’s heaven, it has to be God’s way. Many people believe the old slogan that says “there is no free lunch”. Therefore, these people and their false teachers  think and teach that they can work  their way to go to heaven. Almost all religious systems teach work your way to heaven by good deeds.  However, the Bible declares all your good works that you proudly try to show to gain approval are filthy rags which won’t stand ground on the day of judgment.

• Fifth truth – It’s free for all so that no one boast about their good deeds or works.

Look!  Salvation is free for all those who accept and believe in Christ’s finished work for you on the Cross of Calvary. On the cross, Jesus Christ paid fully and completely all your debts that you owed to the Holy God. In other words, Jesus Christ paid for your sins once and for all.

Now this is the Gospel (good news). If you need to work your way up to heaven, that won’t be a good news, would it?  The Gospel is definitely the good news that this evil bound world should hear and enjoy because God offers you the salvation, son-ship, forgiveness of all your sins, and eternal life as a free gift based on what Christ has done for you and your acceptance of His offer.

Titus 3:4, “but then God our Savior showed us His kindness and love. He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, and gave us a new life…….because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did”.

Listen what Bible says in Ephesians 2 to those who already believed in Christ and delivered from the coming judgment. “Once you were dead, doomed forever because of your many sins……All of us used to live that way, following the passions and desires of our evil nature. We were born with an evil nature, and we were under God’s anger just like every one else”. But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so very much, that even while we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ”. The Ephesians 2:8 says, God saved you by his grace (by His special favor), when you believed in Christ. And you cannot take credit for this; it’s the gift of God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. You can never boast and say you did lot’s of good works and that is how you were saved. Salvation from coming judgment, forgiveness of all your sins and mistakes and everlasting life in heaven are God’s free gift to those who accept and believe in Jesus Christ. Why? Christ paid for your sins on the cross. The gift will be yours, if you accept Christ as your savior today.

Bible says in Ephesians 1:7 “In Him (Jesus Christ), we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the abundant richness of His grace”. The only way to come to God is by the blood of Jesus Christ that wash away all your trespasses and sins, which would then enable you to stand in front of a Holy God with no condemnation or blemishes.

• Sixth truth – Today is the acceptable day and now is the time  God invites you  to come to Him. Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2

  “In an acceptable time I have heard you,
  And in the day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” This is the time God is personally talking to you and invites you to come to Him. Will you listen to God’s invitation now?

Sir or Madam, who read my message, may I humbly and respectfully say this to you?

Now is the acceptable day and time for your deliverance from darkness, acceptance to God’s kingdom, forgiveness of your sins and everlasting life with God in heaven. Will you accept Jesus Christ as your savior now? If you do, you will be so happy that you made the most important decision in your life for your future safety and security. You will have peace, joy and full of happiness because you made the right decision now. You choose God and His ways for your deliverance and salvation. And,  I will have the privilege to introduce you and welcome you to God’s family as a child of God at this very moment.

Seventh truth – God invites you to talk to him in prayer for your salvation and eternal life. God gave this promise in the Bible in Romans 10:13, “Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” God promises in Romans 10: 11 “Whoever believes in Him (Jesus Christ) will not be disappointed”. Jesus Himself invites you personally to open the door  of your heart for Him. He says in Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.” Your personal invitation!

Please pray like this -” Lord Jesus, I open my door of my heart and accept you and believe you as my Lord and savior. I believe you paid for my sins on the cross. I want to be in heaven with you. Please save me!
