Rest in God’s Amazing Grace Available!

“for he knows how we are formed; he remembers that we are dust.” Psalm 103:14

The more I think about it, the more I know Christianity and Jesus Christ are the only avenues of grace for people. I understand many people in the world are living in fear of God. They know they make mistakes (the truth is that all of us are prone to errors). When we do not do the right thing or do the wrong, the word to use is a sin. Many people do not like the word sin, but that is the truthful estate of all. The Bible says in 1 John 5:17, “All unrighteousness is sin.” And people do unright things.

However, listen; your failures do not surprise God. He never says, ‘Hmm, I never thought he would do it’. No, because God is all knowledgeable. He knows all in the past, all happening in the present, and all that will happen in the future. No ‘oops’ moment for God.

Today’s insight says, “for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust.” (NIV). Another translation is “for He knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.” (NLT).

God being your creator, knows what and how you are made of. He knows your frame. God loves you with all your weaknesses. God loves based on who He is and not on who you are. The Bible says in 1 John 4:10 that “this is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” You see, you didn’t love God. But he loved you, and as proof, he sent Jesus to die in your place for all our wrong actions and behaviors.

This kind of love is only seen in Jesus and Christianity. Every other faith systems say you work, work and work to please God. The Bible says you relax because God saved you not based on your works but on who He is and what He has done for you. The phrase of such love is called ‘grace’ and is available only in the world’s only savior, Jesus Christ, whom God gave for our salvation, reconciliation, and eternal life.

I don’t know where and what background you find yourselves in. It doesn’t matter, either. I assume you have experienced only conditional love so far. The Bible says God’s love is not such love. His love is unconditional and everlasting. God loves and is committed to you until you stand perfect and complete in front of Him in heaven based on the work of Jesus Christ. It has nothing to do with your merits or work.

The Bible says in Romans 6:23, “the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Listen! The free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Now that is love and free grace available in the person and work of Jesus.

The Christian life is not a perfect and failure-free life here on earth. God knows your frame. He loves you because He knows in detail and still loves you. Find rest in God’s love and grace available in Christ Jesus.

The Christian life is not a failure- or error-free life but condemnation-free. The Bible says in Romans 8:1, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. The blood of Jesus Christ that is shed on the cross for you cleanses you from all unrighteousness and makes you a brand new creation, an honorable vessel for God by the forgiveness available in Him.

Have a moment to pray? ” Father in heaven, I need your grace and love that you offered me in the person and work of Jesus Christ. I know you sent Jesus and proved your life in my helpless estate.
