“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe the Gospel” Mark 1:15
California is faced with fire. Hundreds of buildings burned down. People are fleeing away from homes with whatever they can gather. 179,000 people are under evacuation order. 5 deaths and not sure how many are dead so far. Another 200,000 are under evacuation warning.
Two aero plane crashes-South Korean (Jeju Airlines on the runway, and Azerbaijan Airlines in mid-air, in Kazakhstan) opens up the thought of the fear of the brevity and unexpected end of human lives. Just four years ago, during the Covid time, the world understood the life is very short and it can soon come to an end, and nobody knows the last day of their lives on this earth.
Let’s pray for those who are sorrowing over the loss of their dear ones. Let us also pray for God’s intervention on humanly uncontrollable wild fire that destroyed homes, buildings and many lives.
Individuals’ families, states, and nations need prayers. We need praying leaders who honor God.
When an individual, family, state or nation ignores Gods eternal principles and trash them for convenience’s sake with no repentance and confession, Gods judgements are typically on the way without warnings.
Repentance is not a bad or shame word, as some may think. It’s the beautiful and blessed word, by which we can all receive Gods protection and blessings again in lives. It amazingly opens up the door of rich spiritual blessings.
Let’s repent and turn to God now in prayers. He is the creator, living and loving God. He loves all people and send Jesus to die in our place for our sins. This is the time of repentance right now. It would be very late when a flood of judgments released from Him.
Jesus said the urgency of repentance when he said,” The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe the Gospel.” Mark 1:15.
Jesus said people enter the kingdom of God by two things- repentance and believing in the Gospel.
Beloved, not only just the devastating fire now in California, but all the recent world scene developments warn us the Kingdom of God is nearer than we all think in our imaginations. Jesus said “kingdom of God is at hand. King Jesus is inviting all to enter the Kingdom of God by repenting of their sins and believing in the Gospel, which is the good news. This is the Gospel-God promised a savior who can save us from our sins and grants a spot in the kingdom of Heaven. God fulfilled his promise by sending Jesus for us. Jesus, the Son of God, came to this world, died, buried and rose again for all of our sins.
Alternatively, this is the other side of the truth. Those who do not repent and believe the Gospel and accept Jesus as their only savior, will not enter into heaven, but left to enter into the place of torments which is called the hell. There are only two places to go at the moment of death-either the kingdom of God which is heaven or place of hell, which God prepared for devil and his demons. Jesus already inaugurated the kingdom of
God and inviting you to come to him for entrance.
The urgency of repentance and believing in the Gospel is on everyone who still breathes and lives now. Choose forgiveness, salvation and eternal life now available in the person and work of Jeus Christ and may your future permanent address be changed to heaven with God and Jesus.
If faced with death today, where will you go? Are you sure your future is safe and secure in heaven? Or you are not sure?
Please get the assurance of salvation and everlasting life in heaven today by repenting and believing in the Gospel which is the good news that in Jesus is the salvation and eternal life and you can receive it in a personal prayer now.
“God, I pray for forgiveness of sins, salvation and eternal life available in Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus died for my sins in my place. He was buried and rose again victoriously to save me. I repent of my sins. Please have mercy on me. Please forgive me, save me and grant me eternal life with you in heaven. I trust in Jesus, the only savior of the world. Thank you for saving me. In the name of Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen.”
