Fear not! God promises He will never leave you nor forsake you
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8.
Just before the time of His death, Moses the great leader of the nation Israel gave this valuable advice to the people of Israel in general (31:6) and then Moses called Joshua, his successor and said the above verse in the presences of all Israel (31:8).
We can read the promise of God that ‘He will never leave you nor forsake you’ several times in the Bible. Why is this promise repeated several times in the Bible again and again? You and I should know this and seal this truth in our hearts. People may leave us, abandon us, and ridicule us. They may place their human seal on you –not usable anymore. In addition, Satan the ‘adversary’ and the enemy of Christ believers will always try to seal you with these thoughts of fear and failure. But not God, the lover of your soul because you are the darling of His heart. Your value is more than the value of the whole world per Jesus. (Marke 8:36). See, God is not man. He is God and His character is totally different from humans. If He promised He will never leave you nor forsake you. That is fully trustable 100 percent literally.
